Morski Brands, Inc. has been crafting quality, great-tasting food products for over 60 years. Our company’s journey began in 1961 in the kitchen of Dawn and Harold Swan. Dawn began making her family recipe potato salad, which Harold sold, at the local grocery store he managed. The popularity of their product led production to expand from their kitchen to a renovated family garage and eventually, in 1985, to a 7,800 square feet facility in Portage, WI.
Morski Brands now serves customers across more than half the nation with diverse, high-quality food product lines and enjoys strategic partnerships with dozens of distributors. In 2024, we strategically transitioned from our beloved Dawns Foods brand—where our humble roots began—and transformed Morski Brands into a world-class food manufacturer and distributor with a dedicated focus on co-packing and co-manufacturing. Through continued growth and innovation, we remain committed to setting the industry standard for culinary and ingredient excellence.

With more than 30 years of experience in food manufacturing, Dan utilizes his expertise to grow with the changing trends of the food industry. Morski Brands Inc. will be the go-to manufacturer for customers in need of frozen and fresh co-packing/co-manufacturing resources, as well as ‘ready to eat’ salads, dips, meals, side-dishes and appetizers – and that begins with creating a transparent relationship with the customer.
Dan and his wife, Heather, are enjoying empty-nest status after raising their four children. Outside of work they enjoy golf, travel and lake-life with friends and family.
Working alongside Dan is his daughter Haley, who brings a fresh perspective to the company with a passion for innovation and a commitment to ensure Morski Brands Inc. remains at the forefront of the industry. Haley is set to play a key role in expanding Morski Brands Inc. as the premier choice for frozen and fresh co-packing/co-manufacturing resources. The Moore family legacy continues with Haley’s dynamic presence in steering the company towards new horizons.
Prior to co-purchasing Dawn’s Foods in June of 2015, Craig had worked in the RTE Fresh Food industry for nearly 25 years in the capacities of Purchasing, Sales and Operations.
Since purchasing Dawn’s, Craig has been in the role of managing all Facility Operations and more recently leading the Sales Team efforts for the company.
Craig treasures the time with his wife raising their children and enjoying recreational activities such as boating, camping, travel and coaching the kids sporting events.
Craig has a passion for the game of golf and values any available time spent on the course.
He has thoroughly enjoyed the past 8+ years building Dawn’s to what it is today and looks forward to continued future growth.
